My Three Sons And A Hawkeye Blanket

Eric, Daniel and Michael.  One day after Eric's 20th birthday.  Man time goes by pretty quickly!
The blanket was made using US6 needles and mostly Caron Simply Soft but there are a couple of yellows that are other brands from leftover balls.  It measures approx. 35"x35".

Diamond Pattern Baby Blanket For Hawkeye Fan

This blanket was made using an old pattern I'd written down when I was a teenager.  I believe it came from an old "The Workbasket Magazine" but that's just my best guess.  I followed the pattern except I added four rows at the beginning and added twelve stitches on the border.  I used US8 needles. and cast on 131 sts.  Caron Simply Soft in sunshine and black was used for the Hawkeye colors.  It measures approx. 32"x28".

Beachy Blanket

Using US10 needles I cast on 120 sts.  From left to right Bernat Super Value in faded denim, sky, peacock; I Love This Yarn in buttercup; Bernat Super Value in light navy, and aqua.  This blanket measures approx. 37"x34".
This was a good blanket to work on when I didn't have to focus too much on anything else.  These are happy colors for a boy baby.
