KNITTING FOR THE PUPPIES AND KITTIES
Today Daniel and I went to the Library Center where we met some people who are knitting papipads for the Southwest Missouri Humane Society. Daniel said he wanted to try to knit again and he did a fair job, but it may be a while more before he tries again. I think someday he will get it.
Beth was in charge of the gathering and shared this pattern with me:
PAPIPAD INSTRUCTIONS: For 20 to 21" X 26 to 27" finished rectangle.
To KNIT: Using size 10, 10.5, or 11 needles and worsted weight (4ply) yarn
DO NOT USE WOOL
1. Cast on 67 stitches using two strands of yarn together
2. Knit one row
3. Beginning with the second row, slip the first stitch, and then knit in each row (DO NOT PURL)
4. Bind off when size is correct.
TO CROCHET: Use #K hook, and the same yarn, but only one strand.
