BY DAWN'S EARLY LIGHT WE SEE...

An icy wonderland. The cracking and big bangs went on all night. Very unsettling, but we pray and then we take inventory. Electricity and cable are ok and we have a gas heater as back up heating. Pantry is full and we are all in and are hunkering down til we have to dig our way out. Knitting is looking pretty good about now! Take care and God bless!!!

We may even get ice down here too. Glad you still have electricity.

We're getting the rain, but no icy conditions here. A LOT of rain. We've only had a trace of snow here so far this season. My children are wishing for snow (and a snow day from school!)

Sending prayers for a quick thaw. In the meantime, enjoy those knitting projects!

We got about 5 inches of snow, but no ice thankfully! I made it to work just fine yesterday, too. I hope you and your family are safe and well! Many blessings.

Oh, we have had the very cold weather too. You are correct, as long as we have power, food, and a good knitting project we're "good to go"! Nice photos!

Glad you're okay! We finally got our power on yesterday morning, and have a house full of guests - I'm just thankful we have the room. Let's hope the eventual thaw doesn't wreck more havoc!
