Jibber Jabber

That's our boy Michael talking on the phone with his Dad. Michael was so brave when he got his two bottom teeth taken out at the dentist's office. The dentist complimented him and said he wished all his patients were as good.
Well, it's been about five days since I've blogged. Most of us were sick this weekend and part of this week. Eric was home yesterday but thankfully was feeling up to going to school today.
Daniel went with a friend to their church Easter egg hunt and his friend won a new bike and then gave Daniel his old one. Sweet deal for Daniel.
Here are some of the books I've been reading or getting ready to read:
*I just love Duane "Dog" Chapman. I will watch his show every now and then. I haven't read his first book yet but intend to. He's an amazing person and a real inspiration. God is surely using him for His purpose.
*"The Survivors Club" is sooooo interesting! It's really amazing what some people can survive!
*We are going to try planting our garden this year using bags of topsoil as per the article in the April/May 2010 issue of "Mother Earth News" magazine.
*Am saying the Divine Mercy Novena. This little booklet is full of wonderful inspiration:~D So much to be thankful for!
*I've been reading "Graced and Gifted" by Kimberly Hahn. Everything she and her husband Scott Hahn is so wonderful and full of Biblical based teaching in full accord with the teachings of the Catholic church. They are two of my favorite authors.
*Then the next three are books about George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, and Thomas Jefferson. I can hardly wait to dig into these gems.
Well, I guess that's it for now. Am working on some preemie hat/booties and an ongoing knitted blanket that has been on the needles now for a few years that needs to get finished. I may be keeping this one. Stay tuned:~D
