A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood

I have been busy sewing knitted panels together for the nine patch baby blankets that are to go to the local Newborns In Need.  This week I will work on knitting their borders.
Outside the sun is shining so brightly and there is a pleasant breeze.  City Utilities trimmed our pin oak last week when our pink climbing roses were in full bloom.  I am hoping our hydrangias will bloom better than last year.  I need to get some flower pots planted very soon.  Again the time seems to be going by so much faster than last year.  I suppose if you are busy doing things you love time just zooooms by!
Michael is enjoying summer school.  Daniel will be 20(!) years old this Friday and got a dog named Violet.  She is so sweet!  Eric is busy doing his own thing.  It is nice he works as close to us as he does.
We won again at our church picnic!  I shared with a man and his two young children.  Made the hearty cheese dip this time.  Everything was delish!  We even had nice weather.
I have been enjoying watching videos on YouTube made by Tim Tracker, Justin Scarred (Randomland Adventures), and Adam The Woo.  Vertual traveling with these guys is good clean fun and informative.  Michael will even watch with us.
Hope you all have your own wonderful day in your neighborhood!

Sounds like our year here which is just speeding by! Jack wants to plant a rose bush or two. One of the men from church spent the day finishing up my pruning in the backyard. It looks wonderful! Many blessings and huggles.
