Monday of Holy Week

My baby has a new tooth! It broke through yesterday and I noticed it while attending Mass at St. Agnes Cathedral here in Springfield. #1 is spending a couple of days with friends and since they attend there we decided to go too. Father Michael McDevitt is one of the priests there and he is the one who baptised #1 son Eric in Poplar Bluff. Eric wanted to show Father and his friend Jon's mom how well he can play the cello, so he got to play a couple of songs after mass for those who were there. Eric did a fine job and we are very proud. He's first seat at his school.
#2 son has decided after having a bad dream that Mom needs to make a quilt for him to help get rid of them. OK..... so I get into my small stash of material and have cut out most of fabric into (largeish) letter size blocks. Had to purchase a few more solid colors to add and then the sewing begins. It must be very hard to be in the middle. He's six years younger than the oldest and five years older than the youngest. He is constantly on the move and is such a loving and caring little boy. A little (OK a LOT) impatient about the quilt (is it done yet Mom?), but he is very generous with his help especially since I believe he tries to out do big brother when he helps.
Tried to post some pictures but am having technical difficulties, so please stay tuned.
Have added a few more links and after feeding #3 son am ready for a short nap. With this I leave with a prayer
Protect us, Lord, as we stay awake;
watch over us as we sleep,
that awake, we may keep watch with Christ,
and asleep, rest in his peace.
May God Bless us all!
