Blanket For A Boy

Made with Cascade Yarns Cherub Collection Kaleidoscope Aran and Lion Brand Yarn Pound Of Love, using the usual US6 dpn and circulars, this blanket measures approx. 39" in diameter. You might notice a difference in the background. We went to FFO (furniture factory outlet) and got a new sofa and loveseat. We all love our new furniture:~)
Just a few notes:
*I left Pinterest because: 1. I was using too much of my time on it. 2. When I joined they made a point of stating to post no nudity and I was seeing WAY too much of bare breasts (male and female). 3. Also I've been reading that there have been lawsuits over people infringing on copyright laws. Who needs that stressor? Not me.
*Yesterday my dear MIL celebrated her 92nd birthday:~D That's awesome!
*I'm asking prayers for her as she recently had to be taken to an assisted living residence. She's had a medical scare and got all her children to come see her in the hospital. All had a meeting and everyone was on board as to the next step to take. Mom isn't happy there but she hasn't gotten settled in yet and is resigned that this is the way things have to be for now.
*Lots of purging of things going on. It's so refreshing to be getting rid of so much STUFF! Still working on the big project of cleaning the garage. One bin at a time:~)
*So looking forward to spring. Norm has been battling a sinus infection and hasn't felt well really since last November. Prayers for healing very much appreciated:~)
