My dear hubby and I went to see William Shatner in Branson at the Welk Resort Theatre last Friday evening. Mister Shatner puts on a very entertaining show and is one of the best storytellers we have.
I continue to knit up some nine patch blankets and will soon be working up some log cabin type blankets as well with a preemie Christmas hat or two thrown into the mix. These are for our local Newborns In Need.
There was a pretty lavender blanket I knit up about ten years ago (!) that was lacy and I began one in pink this time and is a WIP as well.
There are buttons and yarn ready for knitting up some burial buntings later on.
In between knitting I am reading "Up Till Now", and "Shatner Rules".
I am so thankful for my dear husband who supports me in my charity knitting and for charities like Newborns In Need and Relief Share. We also support our local Ronald McDonald Houses. In this country especially, we have much to be thankful for!
I am thankful for each day given to me that I get to be with my family and friends!
