WOOL AND SHEEP
At Springfield's oldest homestead this past Sunday afternoon was the Wool and Sheep festival. Very family friendly events, old fashioned singing, dancing, story telling, dying wool, a kid's tent, spinning, knitting, lace making, needlepoint, baked goods and lemonade, tours of the Grey/Campbell house and barn, sheep (Rambouillete?(pronounced ram*bo*lay) from the Martin farm), sheep shearing that had kids cranking on some contraption that helped the shearer, kids games, some venders and a lot of sunshine after the morning rains. Daniel and I had a wonderful time!

Hi Lana
Love the pictures of the sheep...sheep just seem so "religious" to me.
Hey, could you change my name in your "links" from "The Window Shows it All" to "Holy Cards for your Inspiration?" Thanks....
Hope your all rested up from your vacation.

Sounds like fun. Love those sheep. I hear their wool is very nice to spin.
