Still working on strips for the braided knit balls.  Once this box is full it will be sent off and the "year of the blanket" will resume:~)

Project Linus Blanketeer

This morning Daniel and I went to the Library Center and worked on a No Sew Fleece Blanket.  This was our first time to work on one.  It took a little over an hour but we had help from one of the nice volunteers.  It was a great way to spend a little time in the cool of our library to make something nice for someone who will need a little comfort:~D

Scrap Blanket In July

Using US10 needles this scrap blanket measures approx. 35"x35".  So glad it made up fast as it was getting very hot to work on.

Keeping Cool And Having A Ball

Am knitting up strips from scraps of yarn to send to Relief Share 6078 Lundy Road Houston, MO 65483-2225 so they will make them up into knitted balls.  For the pattern you can look up "knitted ball" in Ravelry.  You can also see what else is going on at http://www.reliefshare.org
Went through the boys' closets yesterday and got rid of about six large trash bags full of clothing donated to the DAV.
We aren't getting out much so are keeping cool.  Hope you are too.
