At Last!

Using US6 needles, I cast on 225 sts.  I knit up 6 skeins of Sinfonia sport weight 100% mercerized cotton.  It measures approx. 45"x46".  This is to go to Comforts from the Heart along with some pink satin blanket binding to be sewn along the edge.  So very happy to have this one off of the needles.  This is blanket #3 for 2013.

Snowy

Pictures taken from the back door.  The snow has made a pretty picture of all outdoors.

Finishing Up

Have these two skeins to finish working up this cotton blanket that's been years in the making.  It's a bit tedious so it's perfect knitting for Lent.  I sent 72 preemie hats to a young gal in California who has a KAL on Ravelry.  She asked those that wanted to to donate preemie hats for her senior year service project.  I was so happy to participate so that I could use up my wool yarn as the local hospitals prohibit its use.  Praying for our dear Pope and the Church.  May God have mercy on us all!!
Getting ready to get some more snow this week.  Don't mind it as long as I don't have to get out in it.
God bless you for stopping by!

Bright Hats For Preemies

Using Bevs baby ribs hat pattern, US3 needles and Colinette JitterBug yarn.  Have two skeins and this is the first hat.  After knitting up these hats I should be able to finish up some other projects for Lent.

Blanket #2 For 2013

I used US8 needles and mostly Caron Simply Soft and I Love This Yarn plus one or two other types of yarn for this Log Cabin type scrap blanket.  This one measures approx. 42"x42".  I will be going to our local Newborns In Need.
